Matterport Virtual Tours for Hotels and Hospitality

Guests book the room they can see. We capture each room category, the suites, the public areas and the event spaces in Matterport, shot around housekeeping so nothing closes, and deliver tours that sit on the booking engine, in event proposals and on the OTA listings that allow them.

What we capture

One example of each room category rather than every room, the signature suites, lobby, bar and restaurant, ballroom and meeting rooms with measurements for event planners, the spa and pool, and back-of-house areas if operations want a record. Each space becomes its own tour or a chapter in a whole-hotel tour, with tags for amenities and a link to book.

Working in a trading hotel

We work floor by floor with housekeeping, taking rooms as they are serviced and handing them back within the hour. Public areas are captured early in the morning before guests are about. There is no closure, no signage and no disruption to the front desk.

What you get

Hosted 3D tours per room type and public space, an embed code for the website and booking engine, a floor plan of each event space with dimensions, still images pulled from the model for OTA galleries, and 12 months of hosting. Tours can be transferred to the hotel group's own Matterport account.

Pricing

Hotel work is quoted per property from the room plan and the list of spaces, usually as a fixed day-rate programme. Small properties start from £495 for a handful of spaces; a full 200-room hotel with its event floor is typically captured in two to three days. Our leisure and hospitality page covers spas, resorts and heritage venues in more detail.

From £495 per unit. Fixed price agreed before the visit. Delivered within 48 hours. Hosted for 12 months or transferred to your own Matterport account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need to close rooms or public areas?

No. Rooms are captured as housekeeping releases them and public areas early in the morning. A typical room takes 15 to 20 minutes and a ballroom under an hour.

Can the tour link to our booking engine?

Yes. Tags inside the tour can carry a 'Book this room' link to the rate page, and the embed on your own site keeps guests on your domain rather than an OTA.

Can event planners measure the rooms?

Yes. The measurement tool works in every tour, and we supply a dimensioned floor plan for each event space so planners can lay out tables and staging before a site visit.

How long does a hotel capture take?

A boutique property with a dozen spaces is a single day. A 200-room hotel with a full event floor is usually two to three days spread across quiet periods.

What does it cost?

From £495 for a small property or a set of event spaces. Full hotels are quoted per property; ask for a quote with your room plan and we will confirm a fixed price.
